And So It Begins!

We are four women who met online on the official Tokio Hotel America fan club, in the Never Too Old Social Group. Patricia Greenbaum (California), Michelle Monkou (Maryland), Maria Walmsley (Pennsylvania)and Annette (Delaware), share a mutual admiration and love for this talented German group.

In March 2010, our support for the German band inspired us to combine energies and spearhead a trip to Milan, Italy to see Tokio Hotel live during their Humanoid City Tour. Band members include Bill and Tom Kaulitz (lead singer and guitarist), Georg Listing (bassist) and Gustav Schafer (drummer). We, the Italian Posse, our nickname, attended the fantastic, mind-blowing concerts in Torino and Padova, sealing our desire to spread the word about them.
Tokio Hotel’s music pulled us together despite our differences in ethnicity, occupations, age, and other artificial constraints. We each have drawn our motivation to support Tokio Hotel from a personal place. After all, the talented band’s start and survival in Magdeburg, Germany were against the odds supported only by their big dreams. The tenacity of these young men, their focus, soulful lyrics, and engaging performances have made indelible imprints within us.

It is only natural that we combine efforts using this blog to share our experiences, thoughts, and to engage in conversations about Tokio Hotel’s performances, music, videos, and professional interests. We invite you to share your love for all things Tokio Hotel. There will also be fun trivia, invitations to post your fan-related talents, and postings by guest bloggers.

Join us. Let’s have a blast celebrating all things Tokio Hotel.

  4. I loved this trip we had a few crazy moments. But we all bonded as sisters would and since I never had any sisters growing up this to me was a double treat (Tokio Hotel and the Italian Posse).

I had such a great time with each of these ladies they are all truly incredible women. And LittleMonk was my concert buddy at times. I would do this trip all over again. Just reading the blog brings back so many beautiful memories. Tokio Hotel to me means so much more then music they changed my life in such a positive way. They have helped me to deal with the demons that I must face on a daily basis (no I'm not crazy, I just had a very painful youth). Tokio Hotel has brought me so much closer to my kids.
